Who: Legolas and anyone.
What: NEW ARRIVAL ALERT! Oh, and exploring!
When: Oct. 25th.
Where: Just pick a place and we'll make it work. Love to anyone that finds the hippy elf in the forest.
Rating: G!
One moment he had been with Gimli, Aragorn and Gandalf, hearing messages passed to Gandalf from the Lady Galadriel. He'd been armed and ready to go to Edoras, content with the knowledge that Merry and Pippin were safe. Safer. And now he was...
Well, Legolas wasn't entirely sure where he was. He'd seen, in passing, the buildings of Men though never had he entered them. He'd been content enough to remain out of doors or in the forest. It reminded him very much of what he'd seen though. And this only raised the question of how he came to be here. Standing and doing nothing wouldn't answer his questions though, this he knew. Only by exploring could he find what he wanted to know and hopefully that would include a way back. It wasn't long after he started to explore that he realized that he was now also unarmed. His quiver was still on his back but it was empty of arrows and he no longer carried his knife or the bow that the Lady of the Golden Wood had gifted him. Guilt tore at him over the loss of such a precious gift. He knew that he could craft himself another bow but it would never compare to those of the Galadhrim.
Garbed in grey, most will find him, a cloak about his shoulders and unassuming. He was cautious, of course, because who knew if this was some trick of Saruman or of the Enemy.

/throws love at
You may be stealthy, miss, but you lack a few hundred years of experience that Legolas has. He'll dart quickly off the path and into the trees, moving lightly on his feet.]
/throws love back at ya! :3
[She curses under her breath, trying to pivot with him and losing him entirely, as well as breaking several twigs and a sapling in the process.]
[Ugh. Forests. It's much easier to sneak on an oil rig or a space ship.]
<33
Quick as he can, and it's something for an elf, he climbs up into a tree and crouches on a branch. Watching.]

[She's still muttering angrily to herself as she stops and tries to get her bearings. Now would also be a good time to set her motion trackers which she's not taking advantage of.]
no subject
He's in a tree not far from her, watching quietly and pulling his cloak tighter around him. She's dressed so strangely that it leaves Legolas on edge and makes him much happier to be in a tree than in sight.]

Is there any reason you're following me?
no subject
No reason. Just got bored. [Not going to admit she was practicing because she failed at it anyway.]
no subject
It seems a poor reason to follow somebody and cause such reckless damage to the forest.
no subject
[Yes South you actually do. Still, she takes a slight step back from this guy, since he is acting weird with all his tree-jumping and odd pointy ears. Bummer of a birth defect, really.]
no subject
[Yeah, he totally is but he's not going to admit it. Even if it's painfully obvious.]
Would that I knew what a 'bulldozer' was, perhaps I might. You remind me a bit of an orc, trampling over helpless saplings.
[Legolas. No.]
no subject
[But she's completely lost on other things.] Helpless saplings? They're fucking trees, it's a fucking forest. It's not like there's a severe lack of them or anything.
no subject
[Look, he really likes trees, okay?]
no subject
Dude you have got to lay off the patchouli or whatever it is you're smoking.
no subject
I do not smoke and I fail to see what that might have to do with anything.

[Tree killer.]
no subject
Uh, yeah -- because they don't speak at all.
no subject
They are silent to the ears of many who would not listen.
no subject
Got any other exotic wisdom from the commune?
no subject
[Just gonna stay up in his tree.]
Yes. Don't try to follow an elf in a forest, in the future. It will save you trouble.
no subject
[Don't tick her off she might shoot a dart at him out of spite.]
no subject
What does that mean?
[Legolas.
Legolas no.]
no subject
It's, uh -- it's slang. It's got a lot of meanings, really. You sure you want to know?
[Because she will gladly explain to him.]
