What: Carolina doing maintenance on vehicles in the hangar. People dropping by. Awkward talks.

Where: Noble Two's hangar, which Carolina has essentially taken charge of

After training and a few other things she needed to check in on, Carolina was back in the hangar, outside of her armor for the first time in a few days. While there were obvious uses for said armor, it made her current task of vehicle maintenance much more difficult. So, the Freelancer could be found in the various vehicles in the hangar, dressed in mildly civillian-esque uniform she'd worn out on the expedition, with the addition of a thicker jacket. After all, she couldn't run vehicles without proper ventilation and the only ventilation was opening the garage door a little.

She didn't plan on being bugged, but things were rarely as she planned them as of late.

[York frowns. It's not standing up right at all, and a few of these poles are sticking out way too much.]

Wait, this can't be right. We gotta get this right or we can't sleep.

[Carolina snorts, trying to get her laughter under control. He looks so serious and surly with that frown on his face that she can't help but imitate his expression with an exaggerated pout.]

Ask Delta. [Meandering back over to him, trying to pull out the poles that aren't in the right place.]

[Ask and ye shall receive. Delta pops on, smaller than usual because the projection capabilities of his chip alone, this far from a holotank. He sounds the slightest bit amused.]

Good evening, Agent Carolina. As it is not necessary for your protection, I have left this entirely up to York. I would suggest completing the lesson when you are both more likely to fully remember it.

[And he winks out.]

[Fffff well jeez, Delta. Despite the AI's sound advice, Carolina doesn't stop trying in the slightest, changing a few of the poles' positions on the tent. Now she's determined to get this right no matter what. With the new arrangement, she attempts to lift the tent to a standing position again.]

[He looks over at her a little regretfully.]

Should we try again or leave it for morning?

[The tent flops back down just as York's speaking. She really wants to get this tent up, but odds so far are pointing to it not happening. ] Didn't think you'd let yourself be defeated by a tent, York.

Defeated? Nah. Tactical withdrawal.

[He grins a little over at her.]

D's right, though. My mind's not on it.

That's what they call it, huh.

[Carolina smirks a little as she re-arranges the poles a second time and somehow successfully manages to get the tent standing.]

Your mind might not be, but mine is. [Smug. As. A. Fucking. Bug. In. A. Rug.]

Uh-huh.

[He taps the tent with a finger, and there's a nice fwooshing sound as it topples again.]

I think we're just going to have to sleep on top of it, babe.

[York: Ruiner of Tents. Carolina does her best to try and look offended, but just manages to look pretty amused instead.]

There are beds upstairs. [But jeez, screw the tent, man. She's pushing it to the side and just sprawling out on the blanket over the mats.]

[He's thinking of screwing something entirely different than the tent, really, and he lays down himself so he's propped up on one elbow looking at her.]

But that's all the way upstairs.

[Is he now? Carolina raises her eyebrows at him before sitting up enough to crawl closer to him. She lays an arm over his side, fingers stretching and curling over his shoulder blade as she tucks one leg underneath her. This is the part she likes the most: just being comfortable around him. There's no worry about the Director walking in, or anyone else for that matter, despite the number of guests she'd had that day so far. ]

Uh-huh. And? [It probably doesn't help that she's leaning toward him to press a slightly sloppy kiss to his lips.]

[He kisses her back hungrily, pressing their bodies together. Call it the whiskey, but he seems somewhat less than concerned that they're in a somewhat open hangar.]

And you're right here.

[No, no, they really should go up to a bedroom. Really.]

[youfallback]

And if I go upstairs, then I'll be there. [Despite her words, Carolina's not doing much moving, except with her mouth as she slowly pulls it away from York's and goes back to just rubbing his back lightly while grinning down at him. She's so many levels of chill right now, she can hardly believe it.]

[Yes please. Just keep doing that for...well, as long as she wants, really.]

Well, I suppose so. Think we should, then?

[It probably will be more comfortable than the ground, even though they have mats down....]

[Carolina curls her fingers under a little to rub her knuckles down his back before pulling herself up to her feet. With a grin, she offers a hand down to him.]

Probably. We can clean this up in the morning. ["This" being that mess of a tent in shambles on the floor.]

[He makes an insincere grumble of protest at having to move, but takes the hand so he can roll up to his feet and oops it's another quick kiss as he snakes an arm around her waist.]

Sounds good. Your room or mine?

[youfallback]

[Carolina laughs lightly at that kiss and the arm around her waist, leaning more against him. She wraps her arms lazily about his shoulders.]

I don't have any condoms in my room. [Y'know, in case that's a motivating factor for getting him upstairs in the first place.] But my alarm clock isn't in your room.

[He makes a face as she mentions the alarm clock, though it's clearly in jest. Though he's rather obviously ready for more, he's also extremely relaxed and happy right now, and even the thought of an alarm clock doesn't cut into that.]

I could just have Delta wake us up in the morning, then. He actually does make me wake up.

[That face makes her chuckle and she presses her lips to his cheek as she slowly pulls back as much as she can make herself.]

Looks like it's your room, then. [Before another smirk creeps up her face as she places both hands back on his shoulders and takes a small jump to try and wrap her legs around his midsection.]

[York staggers a little, laughing, but he should be able to hold her for at least a little bit like that. He takes a few steps toward the stairs.]

My room it is.

[youfallback]

[Carolina shifts to try and support more of her own weight, laughing against the side of his neck. Hey he could use some heavy lifting, right? She's just being helpful.]

Need me to get down?

[He staggers a little over to a wall - not that she's that heavy, really, but he's used to wearing armor when he's lifting - and presses her up against it gently, which should have his face right about even with her breasts. Hello, ladies. It's a bit muffled when he talks.]

Think we'll be okay until we get to the stairs.

[Carolina doesn't mind being pressed against the wall and she shifts with his weight, only to find that that concrete is extremely cold, stealing the suggestion of them doing a few things against said wall from her lips. She leans up away from said wall, wrapping herself tighter around him and pretty much sticking her breasts right in his face.]
