THE BRUNCH GANG.
Who: The Brunch Gang
What: AU detention mingle post?
When: Saturday, Sept. 15, 7:05 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: A "school library"
Rating: John Hughes
The room is familiar to you, as well it should be -- it's your school's library. There are stacks of books all around, and an upper floor you can reach by means of a spiral staircase. There are tables in a row, with two seats each, uncomfortable chairs made of plastic that was probably bright once, but is now worn, dirt finding its way between bumps in the rough surface.
You're here for the remainder of the day, stuck in this room, a punishment for whatever rule you broke.
How will you pass the time?

7:05 A.M.
On a Saturday.
Your parents or guardians dropped you off with words of advice or cold, disapproving silences. Or maybe you made it here on your own.
However you made it here, you're stuck. Might as well make the best of it.
Better find your seats before Vice-principal Boy comes stomping in oh wait here he is, if you're not in your seat you're going to get some stern looks.]
Everybody sit down. This isn't social time.

Re: 7:05 A.M.
Echidna strolls in wearing a tank top and skirt hemmed so short one can definitely see those panties even if she even kind of leans over. It's not a school day, what does she care? At least she's not wearing sunglasses or a hat?
The look she gives the principal is a mixture of disgust and slimy delight. Oh boy, the enforcer is here. ]
Whoopsie, am I late? If all the seats are taken, I may have to sit on someone's lap...

Arya claims a seat by the window, sets her pack down and pulls her hood up over her head before resting her head on her arms. Invisibility: activated.

Better keep it quiet, though; you don't want that guy to come back and yell ineffectually at you.]
[ooc. feel free to make subthreads for different times of the morning or different parts of the library!]
no subject
Yeah, someone's immediately getting out of her seat once the Big Guy leaves and starts strolling around, looking as though she is wandering aimlessly.]

LUNCH
If you're paying attention, you might notice Mr. Boy leaving his office and going down the hall. Is he leaving the building for lunch? Going to the staff room? Or simply going to a vending machine?
Do you want to take a chance on how long you're unsupervised?]
Re: LUNCH
Minionlegal guardian was nice enough to pack him a perfect lunch: pimento loaf and cream cheese sandwich, a little pack of blue Gushers, a baggie of sour cream and onion chips ... and a thermos.he sets out all of them meticulously on the table before rubbing his hands together happily. what to eat first...]

AFTERNOON
Now the only thing you have to look forward to is getting the hell out of here... just a few more hours...
How will you pass the time?]
[ooc. As always, feel free to make your own subthreads!]
no subject
said train now has a hollowed out compartment near the head, and the casing that goes over it all - the really cheap, not so durable, easily broken on contact plastic casing - is sitting off to the side.]
... Now what should I put in it ...
[he lays out his options: blue copy machine toner, super-sticky rubber cement (thank you art class), and... well, whatever's in that tupperware container probably doesn't smell good once you crack it open]
no subject
whatever he's drawing though, looks to be some sort of machine. or maybe it's a bird.
