So you grab a piece of something that you think is gonna last.
Who: Carolina and open!
What: Carolina doing maintenance on vehicles in the hangar. People dropping by. Awkward talks.
When: All day (Jan 20th)
Where: Noble Two's hangar, which Carolina has essentially taken charge of
Rating: Updated to R/NC-17 in the York and Carolina thread. Otherwise PG/PG-13 for most others.
After training and a few other things she needed to check in on, Carolina was back in the hangar, outside of her armor for the first time in a few days. While there were obvious uses for said armor, it made her current task of vehicle maintenance much more difficult. So, the Freelancer could be found in the various vehicles in the hangar, dressed in mildly civillian-esque uniform she'd worn out on the expedition, with the addition of a thicker jacket. After all, she couldn't run vehicles without proper ventilation and the only ventilation was opening the garage door a little.
She didn't plan on being bugged, but things were rarely as she planned them as of late.
(ooc: I'll slap up times below with Carolina's location/the vehicle she's working on below!)

Aside from that, though, he'll just kiss her back nice and slowly, sensually. Eventually he breaks it, though, with a smile that's really more of a smirk.]
Missed me that much, huh?
no subject
It's a pretty accurate estimation.
no subject
What do you think? Much else you want to do with the machines tonight, or are we free for the weekend?
[...Not that it means she probably won't be up at six tomorrow, but she should know what he means.]
no subject
[She waits for a moment, probably just long enough for him to get a very different mental image than what she's about to say. Hey, she can tease too.
Leaning up nice and close, she speaks across his lips.] You need to teach me how to put up a tent, still.
no subject
--Right. Uh, right. A tent. Is indoors all right?
[Since it's a little cold out. Also, he should probably get his armor off while he's still somewhat sober, since he does fully intend to try a few things that don't involve it at all later tonight.]
no subject
[She's beyond grinning at this point, taking a huge victory in having properly teased him.]
no subject
[...It's really not necessary to be out of armor to put up tents, and they both know it. Still, he asks.]
no subject
Regardless, she slips her hand into his and tries to lead him toward the weight room.]
no subject
How big of a tent you got?
no subject
[And she's leaning over to pick up the mats, feeling more and more buzzed.] I think.
no subject
This should be enough, then. You want to grab the tent while I set these up?
no subject
[Man, doing all the heavy lifting here.]
/almost tags with Emile
Before too long, he's laying out the mats in the hangar, making sure to have enough room for a standard two-man tent. He may have to make more than one trip.]
EMILE AND CAROLINA SLUMBER PARTY~
no subject
Okay. Now, where are the poles?
no subject
Not in armor. Go. [She's just sober enough to see a problem with him trying to get that armor off later.]
no subject
[Of course, it takes him more than a couple minutes to go upstairs, get out of armor, and head back downstairs. It's not easy to get in and out fully, but she's plenty aware of that. He'll come back down in some comfortable-looking sweats.]
no subject
Ready to make a tent?
no subject
Right, so. Poles. Should be a couple different lengths here, so let's sort them.
no subject
Right. So she's pouring out a shot for each of them before setting the bottle in the middle of her sorted-out tent poles. Now it's a masterpiece.]
no subject
Okay, so we gotta match the pole lengths up to the...the rest of the tent first. Let's lay it out flat so we can figure out what goes where.
[He'll also start rather lazily hooking the poles together that seem to match. With Delta's help, it's surprisingly accurate.]
no subject
Yes sir, Agent York, sir. [Giving a sloppy salute, she starts laughing quietly before she drags the tent over on top of the mats and unrolls it slowly. Her efficiency and serious demeanor are starting to really suffer from the whiskey, but she doesn't care one bit right now.]
no subject
Good.
[He starts trying to match up the poles to the different parts of the tent, but in his mind Delta is declining to help him (he thinks this is far too amusing) so it's not going very well.]
no subject
Having some trouble?
[Not that her help would be much at this point. She reaches over for one of the poles, leaning against him in the process. Oops.]
no subject
He does get the right pole into the right tent flap this time, though, feeding it through carefully.]
Nah. See, you just got to match them up.
[It's easier to tell when you're not slightly smashed and have a beautiful woman leaning against you, though.]
