IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

[Gives her a playful nudge.]

Maybe if you ask nicely, I'll see if they have waffles here or Eggos.

[secondchances]

We could use some food for ourselves. [She tips the bottle back for Jack a little.]

[dorkwonder]

Yeah, it's been a long day. [Incredibly long at times.] What would you like?

[secondchances]

Yeah. [Noooo kidding.]

Anything, really. You know what I like.

[dorkwonder]

I'll be back.

[Leaves for around half an hour to track down food. Not surprisingly, he comes across a decent stock of food. The little baby resort is attempting to be all inclusive.

When he returns, he's carrying a couple of cans of soda, peanutbutter and jelly sandwich, and a large bag of chips.]

[secondchances]

[Left alone with the baby again. Steph's not really sure how to feel about this, given how crazy today has been so far, but she takes care of Jack. By the time Tim comes back, Steph's laying down on the bed with her eyes closed and Jack asleep on her chest.]

Oh, hey.

[She opens her eyes once he returns.]

I see you were successful.

[dorkwonder]

I rolled well.

[Walks over to the bed trying not too smile too much at the sight of them.]

Do you want me to move him over to the crib?

[From the looks of it, Jack's deep asleep and won't be bothered by being moved around.]

[secondchances]

Yeah, please.

[Tim, Cass, and Ezio are not the only ones to find Steph's boobs comfy. She drops her arms so Tim can take the baby.]

[dorkwonder]

[Gently picks up the baby, who barely moves in his arms. Carefully lays him down into the crib, tucking Jack in once he's settled. Tim looks away once he's done, already feeling a small twinge in his head.

Joins Steph on the bed, attempting to distract himself with their food. Holds up the bag of chips to her.]

Chips?

[secondchances]

Thanks. [She takes some chips in her hand. Mmm, food. Time to chew in silence.]

[dorkwonder]

[Chews on his sandwich, contemplating what to do next. Whenever he's initiated physical contact or spoken to her, she's gone along with it. However, if he doesn't say or do anything, the silence stretches out. Steals a glance her way, trying to get a read.]

[secondchances]

[She's still sore from their argument, but mostly now just worried about him. She's been worried about him since the events on the EH, really, and the arguing and the baby just makes her all the more concerned.

She catches him out of the corner of her eye as she drinks some soda.]

Hm?

[dorkwonder]

Just thinking. [Responds in between bites.]

About what? [IT'S NEVER GOOD.]

[dorkwonder]

Everything that's happened today and what's next. [GOSH SOMETIMES HE HAS GOOD THOUGHTS.]

Do you mean like... in the grand scheme of things, or tomorrow?

[dorkwonder]

Tomorrow. I am trying to not think too far ahead.

[secondchances]

[She can tell he's a little more attached to Jack than she is. Setting her food on her lap, she scoots closer to him.]

What do you think is going to happen tomorrow?

[dorkwonder]

Depends on how upset you are with me by then.

[secondchances]

[THAT'S NOT FUNNY, TIM. Steph makes a face.]

[dorkwonder]

What? I'm being serious. [Confused at her reaction.]

If you're still upset with me, then things will probably still be a little awkward and tense.

[secondchances]

I'm--I'm not upset. [Totally is, just a little, though.] I don't mean to make things awkward, really. It's just been a long month, and this...

[Probably isn't going to help.]

[dorkwonder]

It has been. And this is what happens after a month like ours. I think we're handling it better than most.

[The images he saw were downright gruesome and they still haunt his consciousness and unconsciousness. He's sure there are a lot of people who would have gone permanently insane from it.]

It could always be worse, I guess. Though I hope I didn't just jinx us.
