So many days into summer and not a single pool party yet! Today castle residents may hear some noise wafting from the lawn and pool along with that distinct smell of the barbecue roaring. Oh yeaaah, Barney Stinson's got you covered, Paradisa!

The lawn area has been decked out all in colors, with the grills to one side and the chocolate fountain to another. For those more inclined to chill out and soak up the sun, there are picnic rugs rolled out on the green grass among any kind of game you could wish for. The pool itself has a few floating beds thrown in and all sorts of toys, with a changing tent set up just nearby for anyone who decides they want to get wet and wild after all!

All the fun is for forgetting recent horrors the residents have been through. So once the sun goes down, there will be a time to write down all unpleasantness, and set it to fire. But be careful not to stay out too late; the Castle may have a different idea of Cinderella once midnight strikes.

"But why should it matter how it makes me feel if it's going to be covered up?" Jane asked. She pulled her feet out of the water anyway - uncomfortable or not, there was no way she would leave a friend hanging. She wrapped the towel around her before she came over, though. Who said she couldn't wear it for just a little while longer?

"It's not like there aren't any other towels, Roxy," She said, "If I did end up in this one in the pool, who's to say I couldn't get another to dry off? Or wish for one, if I was so inclined?"

Roxy pouted, "It's not about whether it's covered up or not! It's self appreciation, Jane! You'll know it's there and even if no one sees it, you can just smile to yourself. Or check yoself out in the mirror." She winked, knowing how that went the last time she mentioned checking herself out. "Besides, you're a beautiful woman with a beautiful body! Flaunt what you got!" For added emphasis she snapped, turned around and walked back towards the lawn chairs she had picked out for herself and Jane.

"Banned," she said without so much as turning around. "You're not allowed because I said so. You're not really going to make my hard work go to waste, are you? I picked that out just for you!"

It would be easy to turn Roxy's words around; she knew that Jane was wearing the bathing suit, so why did it matter that she covered it up? But that would be going too far, even Jane knew that, and was a bathing suit really worth going that far for?

No. Really, it wasn't. Jane wasn't unreasonable, after all.

She followed Roxy to the lawn chairs with a sigh. "I think I can concede to that," She said, "But promise me I can keep it on until we go in, and not a moment less. Okay?"

"Okay, I'll let you have that much, but jeez Jane. You know you got a rockin body, right? You really should rock those curves more often." Roxy didn't have anywhere near the curves Jane did, but if she did she sure has hell wouldn't hide them under a towel.

Turning around again, she thrust the suntan lotion into Jane's hand. "Slather away!"

Jane took the suntan lotion, shaking the bottle a bit. "What I choose to do with my 'rockin body' is my choice, isn't it?" She asked, and she flicked the cap open and squirted a liberal amount of the stuff onto her palm. "And if I think my plain old clothes suit it best, then I'll wear my plain old clothes. Above all else, I'd like to be comfortable."

She came to Roxy's side and crouched down, smearing dabs of the lotion onto her friend before she rubbed it in.
