GRAND RELAUNCH BARBECUE
Who: EVERYONE
What: Awesomeness Committee BBQ party
When: Saturday, July 6
Where: Castle lawn and pool
So many days into summer and not a single pool party yet! Today castle residents may hear some noise wafting from the lawn and pool along with that distinct smell of the barbecue roaring. Oh yeaaah, Barney Stinson's got you covered, Paradisa!
The lawn area has been decked out all in colors, with the grills to one side and the chocolate fountain to another. For those more inclined to chill out and soak up the sun, there are picnic rugs rolled out on the green grass among any kind of game you could wish for. The pool itself has a few floating beds thrown in and all sorts of toys, with a changing tent set up just nearby for anyone who decides they want to get wet and wild after all!
All the fun is for forgetting recent horrors the residents have been through. So once the sun goes down, there will be a time to write down all unpleasantness, and set it to fire. But be careful not to stay out too late; the Castle may have a different idea of Cinderella once midnight strikes.

Re: LAWN AREA
He was meandering through the party, dressed in a dark maroon tunic laced with silver. Out of the corner of his eye, he spied Gideon and smiled to himself, making for the other magic user.
"Gideon! I did not think to see you about," he smiled at him, hand raised in greeting.

Have one very happy Elizabeth jogging over, a little breathless from all the activity. She's never been to a pool party before, another thing marked off a list somewhere, and while she's not dressed for swimming it looks like she's at least dipped her legs in--her skirt is wet, and her shoes seem to have been lost somewhere.

He gives the man a curt if not slightly embarrassed wave at having been (possibly) seen looking a bit foolish with fingers in his mouth, but he smiles all the same.
"Not interested in playing?"

"Come on ya babies....who's next?"

"Okay," she says, looking back at Tex, "Don't you think that's a bit much?"

His accuracy with them is fairly good, and while a few missed, they were still rather close to getting around the stake.

Re: LAWN AREA
He cocked his head when he saw Bilbo, remembering a tiny, little thing named Frodo whom Galadriel had adored in her own way. The feet looked quite similar.
So he glided up, all loose robes of fresh mint greens and golds, dark hair done up in need twisting braids and set with gold and jade. The only real burst of other color was the large ruby torque that sat at his throat.
"Hello, little one. I do not believe we have met, though I have met your kind before."

Bocce anyone?
Presently, he was looking over the bocce set, testing the heft of the jack-ball in one hand, and glancing around in hopes that someone would be interested enough to join him.

Re: Bocce anyone?
Simon smiled as he approached. He looked like he hadn't been sleeping well, and his appearance was a little sloppy, but he was feeling ready to face the world again. And Lemony, at least, was a friendly face.
"I can't promise I will be any good or even know the rules, but I can try."
