So many days into summer and not a single pool party yet! Today castle residents may hear some noise wafting from the lawn and pool along with that distinct smell of the barbecue roaring. Oh yeaaah, Barney Stinson's got you covered, Paradisa!

The lawn area has been decked out all in colors, with the grills to one side and the chocolate fountain to another. For those more inclined to chill out and soak up the sun, there are picnic rugs rolled out on the green grass among any kind of game you could wish for. The pool itself has a few floating beds thrown in and all sorts of toys, with a changing tent set up just nearby for anyone who decides they want to get wet and wild after all!

All the fun is for forgetting recent horrors the residents have been through. So once the sun goes down, there will be a time to write down all unpleasantness, and set it to fire. But be careful not to stay out too late; the Castle may have a different idea of Cinderella once midnight strikes.

Nora laid claim to one of those picnic rugs pretty quickly. She had a plate full of delicious food nearby that she'd been picking at periodically but her main focus was the sketchbook currently propped on her knees. She may be dressed for the party but she looked more interested in sketching everyone else having fun than she is in having fun herself.

With most of the other picnic rugs taken, Frodo wanders over to this woman's with two plates piled with food. Oh yeah. He's even in a good enough mood to share his food, which is saying a lot. He clears his throat to catch her attention.

"Pardon, may I?"

Nora looks up at the voice, her face breaking into a grin when she sees who it was. Wow it's been a while. She doesn't think she's seen him since he got here... and she was a fairy.

"Frodo, hi! Yeah, of course you can. There's plenty of room."

It takes him a moment to place her. Her face was so... small when they met that it was hard to see. He certainly prefers her this size.

"Nora, isn't it? My, how have you grown!"

She laughs, grinning broadly at him, "Yeah the loss ended up being an entire month if you can believe it. I'd be happy never being that small again."

"But you could fly! That alone must have been worth reducing one's stature for."

She laughs, nodding a little, "Yeah. Yeah I guess you're right. It was a lot of fun flying around everywhere."

She pauses, still smiling, "How've you been? I haven't really seen you since you got here."

[bronwe]

He slides one piled plate her way so she can take some if she wishes, this one filled with everything sweet; fruits and treats.

"The castle is bigger than I imagined," and he's been quite the recluse, not that he was so different back home. "And more capricious. I hope you have been keeping well despite it?"

Wade flops down on the grass next to Nora, dressed in a pretty yellow sundress, and leans over to get a look at the sketchpad.

"Not interested in the party games?"

Nora looks up at the voice, smiling when she recognizes her new friend from Dino-pocalypse.

"Huh?"Her smile turns a little sheepish, "Oh I guess I'm just a little partied out after my relaunch party."

"Oh, yeah, I heard about that. Must have gone well, then."

She curled her legs against her body, tucking the fabric against them to stave off the slight tickle from the grass.

She nodded, smiling, "Yeah it did. More people showed up than I thought would. It was really cool."

"Did you ever think about doing something like that back home? Owning a gallery?"
