So many days into summer and not a single pool party yet! Today castle residents may hear some noise wafting from the lawn and pool along with that distinct smell of the barbecue roaring. Oh yeaaah, Barney Stinson's got you covered, Paradisa!

The lawn area has been decked out all in colors, with the grills to one side and the chocolate fountain to another. For those more inclined to chill out and soak up the sun, there are picnic rugs rolled out on the green grass among any kind of game you could wish for. The pool itself has a few floating beds thrown in and all sorts of toys, with a changing tent set up just nearby for anyone who decides they want to get wet and wild after all!

All the fun is for forgetting recent horrors the residents have been through. So once the sun goes down, there will be a time to write down all unpleasantness, and set it to fire. But be careful not to stay out too late; the Castle may have a different idea of Cinderella once midnight strikes.

Bocce anyone?

Lemony showed up with Sunny, since she had expressed interest in learning more about barbecuing, but his interest lay more with the assortment of lawn games, as it had been quite some time since he had been able to play them in pleasant company.

Presently, he was looking over the bocce set, testing the heft of the jack-ball in one hand, and glancing around in hopes that someone would be interested enough to join him.

Bond was standing nearby, surveying the game with mild interest. It had been quite some time since he'd actually played Bocce. It's not typically something one plays while tracking terrorists through Eurasia. He may be persuaded to play, however.

"Mr. Bond." Lemony caught his eye, giving him a cordial nod of greeting. "I don't suppose you would care to join me in a game?"

His gaze lifted when he heard his name. When he realized who had spoken he gives the man a nod in greeting. He had seemed a pleasant enough gentleman when they had last spoken. "I may, actually."

He stepped forward, eying the bocce balls along the grass, "Somehow I'm not surprised you know how to play."

"Thinking about playing?"

Simon smiled as he approached. He looked like he hadn't been sleeping well, and his appearance was a little sloppy, but he was feeling ready to face the world again. And Lemony, at least, was a friendly face.

"I can't promise I will be any good or even know the rules, but I can try."

"Bocce is actually a very excellent game for parties such as this, as it is easy to learn, and can be played with anywhere from two to eight people." Lemony smiled. Judging by the other man's appearance, he'd either had a rough time of things recently, or his clothes had been cared for by a very inept launderer ... both things which could be made a bit easier to deal with by the presence of good company and the distraction of a friendly game. "I would be happy to teach you."

"I would appreciate that," Simon replied, stretching his arms. "I could use the distraction. And the physical activity, come to think of it. Count me in."
