So many days into summer and not a single pool party yet! Today castle residents may hear some noise wafting from the lawn and pool along with that distinct smell of the barbecue roaring. Oh yeaaah, Barney Stinson's got you covered, Paradisa!

The lawn area has been decked out all in colors, with the grills to one side and the chocolate fountain to another. For those more inclined to chill out and soak up the sun, there are picnic rugs rolled out on the green grass among any kind of game you could wish for. The pool itself has a few floating beds thrown in and all sorts of toys, with a changing tent set up just nearby for anyone who decides they want to get wet and wild after all!

All the fun is for forgetting recent horrors the residents have been through. So once the sun goes down, there will be a time to write down all unpleasantness, and set it to fire. But be careful not to stay out too late; the Castle may have a different idea of Cinderella once midnight strikes.

"I'm not sure, are pets normally allowed in pools?" Not in her rich circle, for sure.

He only muttered to himself as he leaned back, watching Weiss jump at the ball in attempt to subdue it, only for the ball to float away from him and make him splash underwater. That damn dog was a handful.

"Who cares if they weren't?" Pixy huffed, "Do you really think anyone here would listen if they weren't?"

"Fair enough. I suppose I'll go get him before he drowns" Mitsuru sets her drink aside and slowly stands up, taking off the towel over her shoulders to fully reveal that black swimsuit of hers. She dove into the pool and swam toward the puppy and grabbed the ball as well.

Not long after that, she gets out of the pool, dripping wet from head to toe. She flipping her hair. For once there's no hair covering her other eye! A rare sight! Ignore the icon.

He watched after her in mild annoyance; He knew Weiss was capable of swimming, so he didn't particularly understand why Mitsuru would assume that he was going to drown. Oh well. What she did wasn't exactly his concern. Normally he would have chastized her about it, but he'll cut her some slack this time.

He would wish up a spare towel and stand up, walking over to her when she got out of the pool and taking Weiss from her, wrapping the towel around the puppy.

"I'm starting to suspect that I need to get a leash for him."

"Why haven't you gotten one yet?" She gives him a sly grin while dried herself with her own towel. Seriously, not even handing her a towel. Not very gentlemanly.

She's looking at the wrong guy for 'gentlemanly'. He's a mercenary, dammit.

Pixy glances over at her before he carried Weiss back to the chair, sitting down and rubbing the dog's head with the towel. "He was fairly well behaved before. I guess I put too much confidence in him in thinking that he wouldn't need one."

Mitsuru sat on the side of her reclining chair, facing Larry and Weiss. "I see. Perhaps he just wishes to have more fun with his master? That could be why he's more active lately, to get you to play with him more?"

Weiss gave a bark after Mitsuru spoke, getting Pixy to look down at him. Pixy just sighed, continuing to dry off his now very damp companion.

"He's pickin' a real bad time to do it if that's the case, given that there's not much I can do on this leg for a while."

Says the guy who came out without a crutch for once. Which either speaks for recovery rate or Pixy's stubborness. More than likely the latter.

"You might have fooled him by not using your crutch" She smiled and waved at Weiss, who smiled and whimpered back happily while Larry dried his cheeks. It's obvious Larry is bothered by something, so maybe that's what Weiss wants to help him with.

Pixy himself never would have considered that idea, but while he never would admit it, having Weiss around was a bit of a comfort these past two months. Whether the dog was aware of how he felt or not? He sure as hell wouldn't know.

"Maybe I'll have to start makin' use of it again then, if he's gonna start jumping to conclusions." He does manage to say that with a hint of jest, patting Weiss' head.

Weiss whimpered and jumped to Mitsuru, causing her to yelp and giggle when the puppy kept kissing her cheeks.

Pixy just watched after Weiss, the puppy jumping away from him was a little expected. He frowned, setting the towel back on the chair.

"I guess Weiss is pretty fond of you."

He is!

"I'd say. I do not know why. I never seen myself as someone animals would be fond of" Koromaru is indifferent to her after all.

Pixy shrugged, taking his flight jacket off and tossing it over the back of the chair, "Weiss seems pretty fond of everyone, so I don't see why he wouldn't be."

And really, if the dog likes a guy like him, there's no reason why he wouldn't like someone like Mitsuru.

"He's a good boy" Mitsuru smiles genuinely for once. The kind of smile that shows off those pearly whites. Even Weiss is happy to see her smile.

Huh. A smiling Mitsuru. Who would've thought.

Pixy doesn't pay too much mind to it, he'll just give a small laugh. "Maybe I should have you start takin' care of him when I need it instead of Satonaka."

"I wouldn't know how to take care of him. What's the matter with Satonaka?"

"I didn't say anything was wrong with her." He shook his head, "Aside from him gainin' weight everytime I leave him with her."

Which in a way was amusing, and that smirk on his face would prove it wasn't anything that annoyed him. It at least proved that Chie definitely took care of him.

"Next thing I know, he'll be rollin' back to me when I leave him with her."

[Mitsuru just laughed. Like actually laughed at the mental image of Weiss rolling and gaining weight]

That was certainly interesting. He'd never seen Mitsuru so loosened up before. Even Weiss was tilting his head at the laughing Mitsuru.

While any other time, Pixy likely would have made some kind of crack about Mitsuru being like this, he'll just get a smugger look on his face. "Somethin' funny, kid?"

"Oh nothing. I just imagined Weiss literally rolling on his side..."

Pixy gave a faint laugh, folding his arms and shaking his head. "I'm amazed I haven't seen it yet."

Weiss just whined at the two. If Pixy didn't know any better, he would think that the puppy looked rather offended at that moment.

Weiss was a bit hurt that people are laughing at his fatness.

"Oh look at him. We must have hurt his feelings..."

Pixy scoffed, "If that bothered him, then he's probably hangin' around the wrong guy."

He'll look at Weiss and quirk an eyebrow, "Unless that's just a sign that he wants to leave."

"I don't think he wishes that. He'll get used to you. Weiss is still young"
