So many days into summer and not a single pool party yet! Today castle residents may hear some noise wafting from the lawn and pool along with that distinct smell of the barbecue roaring. Oh yeaaah, Barney Stinson's got you covered, Paradisa!

The lawn area has been decked out all in colors, with the grills to one side and the chocolate fountain to another. For those more inclined to chill out and soak up the sun, there are picnic rugs rolled out on the green grass among any kind of game you could wish for. The pool itself has a few floating beds thrown in and all sorts of toys, with a changing tent set up just nearby for anyone who decides they want to get wet and wild after all!

All the fun is for forgetting recent horrors the residents have been through. So once the sun goes down, there will be a time to write down all unpleasantness, and set it to fire. But be careful not to stay out too late; the Castle may have a different idea of Cinderella once midnight strikes.

[And here's Utena, making her way towards the castle, walking a bit slower than usual as she gets used to the heels she's stuck with. She stops in her tracks, though, once she catches sight of Lara. Her jaw drops to the ground as she gapes openly at her, before she shakes her head in an attempt to snap herself out of her shock.]

Okay - where the hell did you get that?!

[The logical answer: castle magic, duh. After all, the same exact thing happend to her. Unfortunately, it's kind of hard to vocalize the shock of seeing someone dressed almost exactly like you.]

I don't know. I just blinked and I was suddenly wearing this... Colour Guard outfit?

[Lara checks her new costume out. It's cute, but not for her.]

[Looks down, feeling just a little bit self conscious. Just how the heck is she supposed to explain this?]

It's supposed to be a school uniform. One of my old ones, actually.

Lara raised an eyebrow and looked at the so-called uniform. People went to school in this? Wuuut?

"Seriously?"

"Seriously. Well, except for the lace, or the shoulder pieces, or... look, it's complicated."

Honestly, if Lara's that weirded out by the outfit, how the heck is she going to take the full story? Why yes, every Friday night I would take the stairs up to a secret arena, and fight for a girl's freedom while fencing under a magical castle in the sky. But first, I'd have to accessorize properly! You can't be a prince without accessories! No, this isn't insane in any way whatsoever.

Oh the look on Lara's face if she would hear that...

"Without the shoulder pieces or the lace, this actually looks cute. Especially the jacket" Lara chuckled, taking a closer look at her new costume. She's one of the few to not complain about the costume change, since she's more curious about the magic behind it than the clothes themselves.

Her face fell a bit when Lara called it cute - the uniform she chose was supposed to look cool and dashing! Not... cute.

(Except no. Sorry kid, but there's nothing cool about bike shorts)

Though... there are worse things that can be said. Utena relaxes a bit, looking over Lara's version of her outfit. If nothing else, it doesn't look bad on her, which soothes her pride a bit. Cute or not, she can still make decent fashion choices.

"Well, at least it looks good on," she admits. "And hey, a change in clothes is better than a change in locations, right?"
