GRAND RELAUNCH BARBECUE
Who: EVERYONE
What: Awesomeness Committee BBQ party
When: Saturday, July 6
Where: Castle lawn and pool
So many days into summer and not a single pool party yet! Today castle residents may hear some noise wafting from the lawn and pool along with that distinct smell of the barbecue roaring. Oh yeaaah, Barney Stinson's got you covered, Paradisa!
The lawn area has been decked out all in colors, with the grills to one side and the chocolate fountain to another. For those more inclined to chill out and soak up the sun, there are picnic rugs rolled out on the green grass among any kind of game you could wish for. The pool itself has a few floating beds thrown in and all sorts of toys, with a changing tent set up just nearby for anyone who decides they want to get wet and wild after all!
All the fun is for forgetting recent horrors the residents have been through. So once the sun goes down, there will be a time to write down all unpleasantness, and set it to fire. But be careful not to stay out too late; the Castle may have a different idea of Cinderella once midnight strikes.

She scanned the girl from head to toe, seeing how her bodysuit looks like from a stranger's perspective. She couldn't help but groan. Now she gets why people in Inaba kept bringing up how ridiculous her outfit was]
No, it's much worse.
no subject
So, what is it? You look like you've got an idea of what's going on around here.
no subject
[Mitsuru shrugged]
And I must say, my coat looks good on you.
no subject
[Before she can finish her sentence, her eyes widen in realization]
Wait, this is your outfit?
[She'd think she'd remember somebody dressed like this around the castle. Then again, she did come around springtime. Fur coats and skintight bodysuits aren't exactly warm weather wear]

So I'm guessing this is also yours, then.
[Third is that she's an excellent swordswoman. After all, people don't carry weapons like this just for show. Utena starts to pull the rapier out for emphasis, until she thinks better of it and lets it slide back in the scabbard. ]
Though I bet the real thing's more impressive. I mean, this doesn't feel any better than a cheap toy.
no subject
It is. My rapier is custom made for me back home. It was one of my few possessions I brought along with me to this world.
no subject
So... the rapier - the real one, I mean - is that just for sport, or is it for...
[Hesitates, trying to think of a way to put this]
Or is it for something more serious?
no subject
[Which didn't really change. Combat is still a huge possibility in this world, even though she only got to use it to kill something once]
no subject
[Before she can finish that thought, she glances back at the crowd of confused people around them]
...actually, this really isn't the best place to talk, is it? How about we go somewhere else?
[Even if they don't go back inside, they can at least go someplace a little less crowded. Or snag one of the now abandoned lawn chairs]
