IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

[Steph would have been content to let Tim handle the baby, but when he starts crying she can't help but open her arms to him.]

I'm getting a little hungry, too. Do you want to go see if there's a place to get food around here and I'll take care of this guy?

[dorkwonder]

[Hands the baby over to her, who continues to cry. ]

I actually packed some food for the pool. I'll just grab that. [Opens up the pack he brought with him and produces a bottle filled with baby formula. Holds it out. ]

Here we go.

[She takes the bottle and holds it to Jack, who eagerly takes it.]

There we go.

[dorkwonder]

Look at him go. [Jack is wolfing down the formula like there is no tomorrow. Slides an arm around Steph's shoulders as he watches. ]

[secondchances]

[It makes her a little uneasy, this feeling way too much like a family and all, but she keeps a small smile on her face.]

You eat like that, sometimes. Like the food is going to escape or something.

[dorkwonder]

[The three of them do make a happy looking family. Although Tim is keenly aware this is all temporary. ]

What if it was a plate of waffles instead of a bottle?

[secondchances]

I'm a lady. I eat delicately.

[Biggest lie. She cuts pieces that just barely fit in her mouth, so they must be soaked with syrup.]

[dorkwonder]

One time while we were having breakfast, I contemplated having the last waffle, until I realized I valued having my hand more than another waffle.

[secondchances]

You could have asked.

[dorkwonder]

You had this look in your eyes...waffle vision.

[secondchances]

Tim. [Laughs. Stop being cute she's supposed to be mad.]

[dorkwonder]

[Smiles at her. Knows she likes his silly side, so he's going to go with it.]

Once waffle vision is engaged, it's all over. No waffle is safe.

[secondchances]

Dork.

[dorkwonder]

I prefer to think of it as having keen survival skills.

[secondchances]

I'll let you think that.

[dorkwonder]

[Gives her a playful nudge.]

Maybe if you ask nicely, I'll see if they have waffles here or Eggos.

[secondchances]

We could use some food for ourselves. [She tips the bottle back for Jack a little.]

[dorkwonder]

Yeah, it's been a long day. [Incredibly long at times.] What would you like?

[secondchances]

Yeah. [Noooo kidding.]

Anything, really. You know what I like.

[dorkwonder]

I'll be back.

[Leaves for around half an hour to track down food. Not surprisingly, he comes across a decent stock of food. The little baby resort is attempting to be all inclusive.

When he returns, he's carrying a couple of cans of soda, peanutbutter and jelly sandwich, and a large bag of chips.]

[Left alone with the baby again. Steph's not really sure how to feel about this, given how crazy today has been so far, but she takes care of Jack. By the time Tim comes back, Steph's laying down on the bed with her eyes closed and Jack asleep on her chest.]

Oh, hey.

[She opens her eyes once he returns.]

I see you were successful.

[dorkwonder]

I rolled well.

[Walks over to the bed trying not too smile too much at the sight of them.]

Do you want me to move him over to the crib?

[From the looks of it, Jack's deep asleep and won't be bothered by being moved around.]

[secondchances]

Yeah, please.

[Tim, Cass, and Ezio are not the only ones to find Steph's boobs comfy. She drops her arms so Tim can take the baby.]

[dorkwonder]

[Gently picks up the baby, who barely moves in his arms. Carefully lays him down into the crib, tucking Jack in once he's settled. Tim looks away once he's done, already feeling a small twinge in his head.

Joins Steph on the bed, attempting to distract himself with their food. Holds up the bag of chips to her.]

Chips?

[secondchances]

Thanks. [She takes some chips in her hand. Mmm, food. Time to chew in silence.]
