IT'S A BABY-BONANZA!

Good morning, residents! Did you sleep well? You're going to need all the energy you can muster because congratulations: You're parents! Again! The Paradisa Stork has paid some very lucky residents a visit last night, and even moved them to a more kid-friendly environment.

Some of you may already recognize your little bundle of joy and--my, how they've grown! Others will have to get acquainted with their little rugrats. You may not know them, but they certainly know you. By they way? They're bored. And hungry! And they want all the attention you could possibly give them.

It's going to be a long week.

Tim Drake has also been thinking about masked heroes since he was a child and how important Batman and Robin are.

We do. We're both part of the same legacy. [Studies Jack, wondering if he'd grow up to be a Robin or a masked vigilante of some sort like them.]

We are. [She's doing her best to not think about what her kid would grow up to be.]

When I was little, though... I loved Superman more than anything. Don't tell anyone, shh.

That explains the poster. [Sorry, Steph. You are never living that poster down, ever.]

[Forgets any unpleasantness to pinch his ear.]

Jealous I didn't have a Robin poster?

Ow. [The ear is a sensitive spot!]

Not as jealous as you might think.

[Grins a little to himself. Back then, he got smooches from Cissie and Steph!]

Wow, don't sound too smug now.

[Turns his head so he can place a kiss on her temple.]

I'd rather be here with you, than a poster on your wall.

Ah, it's a love song. [Finally laughs a little. :') ]

I wish we could be Batgirl and Red Robin more often, though. During the expedition, fighting... that felt right and natural. We should plan our own.

... not that I want to run into weird bug monsters, but you know what I mean.

I'd like that. There's a lot I'd like to see and experience for myself. [Second hand knowledge isn't the same. At all.]

We can do a short expedition. Head out for a few days, in a different direction than the one the group went on.

You, me, and Cass. [No more Kara, and she knows better than to mention Ezio again today.]

[Someone is grateful she didn't mention him.] Between the three of us, we'll be set. I'm also going to work on a steam powered ride with Blues and Once. Maybe I'll be able to create something we can take with us.

That would be helpful. Otherwise... horses. Ugh.

Not a fan of horses?

They're alright, they just hurt my butt.

It is a nice butt, I'd hate to see it ruined. [Covers Jack's ears!]

We should probably get going, anyway. We've been here for an hour or so, which is around the max amount of time you want someone his age to be around pool water.

Yeah. Probably gonna be time to feed him again soon, too.

[dorkwonder]

Come on, Jack. Let's go and get dry.

[Slowly stands up, and then scoops Jack up in one arm. Jack coos happily, kicking his legs around and still clutching onto the duck.]

[Steph smiles at that, then starts leading the way back to their room.]

[Jack is good until they make it to their room, then he starts crying and squirming in Tim's arms.]

Wow, I am really hungry. I don't think I'm the only one.

[secondchances]

[Steph would have been content to let Tim handle the baby, but when he starts crying she can't help but open her arms to him.]

I'm getting a little hungry, too. Do you want to go see if there's a place to get food around here and I'll take care of this guy?

[dorkwonder]

[Hands the baby over to her, who continues to cry. ]

I actually packed some food for the pool. I'll just grab that. [Opens up the pack he brought with him and produces a bottle filled with baby formula. Holds it out. ]
