TOKYO OPT-IN 1/4
Who: Opt-in characters
What: What is even going on and then there's a monster
When: Forward-dated to 10pm, 20/July
Where: Tokyo... or is it?
Rating: PG/PG-13
Whatever you were in the middle of doing, you suddenly find yourself in what appears to be an abandoned garage, in the blink of an eye.
There is a bunch of weird-looking technology everywhere, cables and wires connected to machines lined with blinking lights. There are screens all over the room, with grids and maps on some of them and scrolling, foreign text on others. One of the screens projects a constantly rotating image.
There's also a platform in the middle of the room. And you all happen to be standing on it.

TOKYO?
What the hell.
The neighborhood you've been deposited in is completely uninhabited. No people, no cats, no insects. Nothing. If you move more than two miles in any direction, you'll hit an invisible wall.
So… really. What the hell?]

[She didn't just imagine that woman, right? Utena twists around, looking for any sign of her, slowing down when she notices the neighborhood. The change of scenery is shocking, but the silence is disturbing. It's quiet, quieter than Tokyo has any right to be, and a chill runs down her spine. She's still for only a moment, though, and in an instant she dashes towards the nearest building and starts to bang on the door. There has to be someone around here, right?!]

Quiet down. If there are any threats here, you are going to draw them right to you.

Every instinct told him that any sudden change in surroundings was dangerous. That was the castle's pattern, after all.
He could look for allies after he was in a more strategic location.]

So Cass tries exploring, walking so she can look around and not miss anything as she goes, but... well, she doesn't find anything until she hits the invisible wall. She kicks it a few times, tries pushing on it.
If that doesn't work, she'll just walk back to where they all showed up and keep an eye out for people with body language that suggests they have the answers.]

And who the heck was that lady, seriously?
All the questions, none of the answers, but instincts are telling him this is a dangerous situation. It's time to start poking around and looking for weapons, even a nice solid steel pipe will do.]
A GUEST ARRIVES
Until now.
There's someone slowly walking toward you from further down the street. Someone extremely tall. They're dressed in a cloak, and… is that wide-brimmed hat? It's hard to tell in the darkness.
Maybe they know what's going on?]
no subject
She puts herself in the path of this... whatever they are, and when they get closer, Cass tries the diplomatic approach first.]

She doesn't look away from the creature as she continues firing.] All of you, get out of here. Now.

[Here, mysterious stranger, have a scruffy teenager running up to you. Her legs are scratched and covered in clumsy bandages, her hand is clenched around a bottle of vodka with a rag stuffed inside, and she's wearing an oversized men's t-shirt that comes halfway down her thighs. She appreciates the help, really, but it's not like getting out of here is an option right now!]

There is the issue of having a limited amount of space to escape into, of course, but he'll make do. He doesn't have to be told twice to duck out of view. Of course, he's not taking any time to pull anyone else to safety with him. Such a team player.]
