Who; Ino & you
What; Nightmares.
Where; In ur dreams ;)
When; Anytime between October 5-8
Rating; Generally PG-13, may progress to R depending on which route you take
[Nightmares are never fun, no matter where you go. But things take a bit of a turn for the worse when you've jumped into the mind of a ninja. A ninja that can look into other people's heads, to be exact.
So which path will you pick?]

HIDAN | KAKUZU | BAD END | ALONE | SOMETHING ELSE?
HIDAN
THIS WAS THE MOST DIFFICULT DECISION SOB
She crouches, then sprints towards the screams once more, quickly closing the distance. ]
heheh <33
On one hand, there's Hidan, and he's within his circle, scythe rammed through his stomach as he cackles to himself. On the other, there's Carlisle, with a massive, gaping, bleeding wound in the same spot. Carlisle falls to his knees, coughing up more blood. Never mind the fact that he shouldn't be able to bleed at all -- it's clear in this dream that he's in trouble if he doesn't get help, and fast]
B)
[ She wants to move towards him, but her anger is directed towards Hidan. The pain and sorrow she felt was real -- what the hell was going in with this, anyway? -- and she snarls. Her golden eyes narrow. ]
What is happening here? [ She looks at Carlisle, at his side immediately, holding him gently. He had been alive for centuries; this punk over here --- holding his scythe like some Grim Reaper wannabe -- couldn't kill him. Shouldn't be able to. ]

KAKUZU
You should probably run now.]
BAD END
no subject
Oh, God.
This is...this is too much. A field silent save for the moans of the dying, and Jane was far too weak to help anyone. There's no way some patching up will help those who still hang on, and there was no way she could have stopped the devastation, even if she had fought. Even if she could fight. How useless.]
Guh-
[She falls to her knees and vomits into the grass.]

... Jane?

H-Hello...? [Rising on wobbly legs, she looks for the source of the sound.] Who's...where are you?!

His impassive, objective shell has shattered. It's all ragged, raw emotion now; mostly anger, but there are threads underneath it, loss and grief and failure so acute it makes him ill.
(Everything for nothing.)]
There you are, you've had your noble stand. For what? For this?
[He's shouting at nothing, twisting in place, nearly feral in his movements. It hardly matters now whether he keeps his sanity or lets it fray around the edges. He laughs, a painful sound.]
Brilliant. Well done, the lot of you.
no subject
No one except maybe the young, blonde girl laying right near his feet. She doesn't know him -- not well enough to recognize him in this state, anyways -- but someone alive and well is always someone to reach for when you're dying. To pass on your message, to let them know what you died for.
Unfortunately, the wound in her side is gaping, and it keeps her from doing much other than coughing harshly]
no subject
He latches onto it, and crouches next to her, staring. (He is not a doctor.) His eyes scan her face and her wound, unrefined information-gathering. (John is a doctor.) There's nothing he can do.
(John is also a soldier.)
Anger swells, claws at the back of his throat. He doesn't even know her, doesn't have a reason to care, but how dare she still be alive when she's just going to die, too.
He doesn't say anything, just leans forward to put pressure on her wound. It's stupid and pointless, his mind screams, but his hands don't seem to have gotten the message.]

ALONE
Or maybe it's the sudden knowledge that there is no one else left here but you.]
no subject
The more noble part of his heart insists he should be happy for those who left. They got to go home-- finally. There were relationships that had been broken, but... maybe it was for the best.
On the other hand? There was literally no one around. He can recall, almost like some far off memory, talking to John. He'd commented on, knowing his luck, he'd be one of the ones stuck in the castle for years to come.
He hadn't thought his luck sucked this much.
Oh well. At least he has his journal, and he can listen to the voices in the book and almost pretend that they're still here.]
no subject
But this dream is not without hope. Maybe that last whisper was from the journal ... but oddly, it sort of sounded like it could have been from around the corner and down the hall, too. Maybe you should go investigate?]

SOMETHING ELSE?
The Eclipse
no subject
At first, there is only darkness, only her. But then everything goes red, and the sky and the ground begin to shift in shape and form, until everything surrounding her -- and presumably everything for miles to come -- is composed of massive red faces.
Frozen with fear and confusion, you cannot do anything but watch as strange, threatening figures begin to march towards you from the darkness. Big, small, wide and thin -- they all look like misshapen people, and all of them are grinning widely. As they come closer, it's more evident that they are chanting together:
"The time has come ... The Night Festival! 'Tis the time of the festival, which comes with the passing of every 216 years ... The Eclipse!"]
